Statement of Faith

The mission God has given me is simple: to encourage believers to wait well for Jesus, our Bridegroom. Below you’ll find the principles of my faith as mentioned in the Apostles’ Creed. If  you have additional questions about anything below, contact me!

Apostles’ Creed:

I believe in God, the Father Almighty and Maker of heaven and earth

I believe in Jesus Christ, His only begotten Son who was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried. He descended into Hell and on the third day rose again. He ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of God, the Father. He will come again, to judge the living and dead.

I believe in Holy Spirit, the forgiveness of sins, the communion of saints and holy catholic church, the resurrection of the body and the life everlasting.

Additional Beliefs:

The Bible is the only, infallible, inerrant, Word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit.

I believe the Holy Spirit is alive and at work in the Church today and that He empowers each believer to live the holy life described and commanded in the Bible. The Holy Spirit gives gifts for the edifying of the body of believers and a life submitted to Him also bears fruit that is evident to all.

I believe men and women were made in the image of God and in traditional Biblical marriage.

I believe that without the death and resurrection of Jesus, man would be eternally separated from God. I believe that because of His death, those who confess Jesus as Lord, are dead to sin and because of His resurrection we are alive to God.

I believe in the resurrection of both believers and unbelievers. Believers to everlasting life, unbelievers to eternal separation from God.
