From raising kids to being the best entrepreneur we can be most people I know, want to do great things for God.
But, what if like Abraham God asked us to take every promise, every dream and to give them all back?
Would we discover we:
Trust Him more than our elected officials…
Depend on Him more than our 401Ks or bank accounts…
Love Him more than our spouses — more than our children…
We watch for Him more than we watch the news or the newsfeed.
What if we laid could lay all those things down and never look back and loved Him with abandon?
What if we closed our eyes and jumped…into his heart and into his hands?
We might see His Kingdom come quickly!
Instead of simply reading the letters of the Apostles, we could
become God’s living love letters, sent out to the world!
We might just live out The Acts of the Holy Spirit in this decade.
Because with all these attachments and caveats, maybe we’re not really living at all. Maybe we’re just surviving.
I want Life. I want Life more abundantly.
And for Him, I lay it all down…
Because I know, promises made by Him, are promises kept…
