I like rules. I like knowing what to expect and a sense of order. But let’s face it. The smallest members of team Baity don’t always fit into my ‘rule box’.

It’s been a rough week so today I chose to close the rule box and open the joy box.

Today I said YES–to ice cream before dinner.  We laughed and enjoyed every bite! And I delighted in the joy on their faces and the sweet treat in my tummy.

YES to bite-sized pieces of joy! Yes to kids’ hearts. Yes to the child in my own heart!

Simply YES!
