Last week, the kids and I visited Indian Echoes Cavern near Harrisburg PA.

The sights and sounds were breathtaking. We found ourselves on a spectacular adventure 100+ feet below the earth. It was damp and a bit scary. The narrow passageways and low ceilings, could easily make one feel claustrophobic.

If not for the bits of light provided by the guide we would have been surrounded in total darkness. And at one point we were. But just a little light made all the difference. And in the darkness beauty and treasures were discovered. This is what we saw…

There was beauty in the darkness all the time. We just needed a little light.
